Cornflower Raccoon
The sign: Creativity. New ideas and a kind heart, guarded by cornflowers. He plays and sings.
The sign
The raccoon stands for ingenuity, generosity and care for others, and above all for creativity, new ideas and new beginnings. The cornflowers around him were believed to guard against evil spirits and bad luck; they stand for loyalty and a steady link with the sky.
The story
In Ukraine the cornflower is called vasylok, after a boy named Vasylko who, the legend says, turned into a blue flower in the summer fields. The raccoon never lived in the old myths. We brought him in because we loved him, and he became our most loved beast.
Your wonder
For bright, many-sided people who stay simple at heart. A reminder to trust, to make things, and to be gentle with yourself.
